Reimagining Doom's First Level

​

  • Reimagined a tutorial level for Doom using GZDoom and Ultimate Doom Builder.

  • Focused on new features added to GZDoom: jumping and free look mechanics.

  • Developed a unique visual language for interactions to better allow for player comprehension.

  • Playtested and iterated on pacing, layout, and combat encounters to ensure well-paced experience.

Cobot Putt Factory

April 2022 - June 2022

  • Created 18 Levels for a putt-putt game utilizing Cobot arms to assist in players' shots.

  • Worked within design limitations of mobile device's portrait orientation to create levels that focused on verticality.

  • Collaborated with the art team to create a modular tile-based "level editor" within Unity to ensure a quick turnaround for level creation and iteration.

Magnet Gun Laboratory 

March 2020

  • Created a small dungeon environment in Obsidian Entertainment's The Outer Worlds universe.

  • Utilized environmental storytelling and computer terminal entries to create a narrative for players to discover.

  • Scripted all player mechanics, enemies, and interactables in Unreal Engine.
