Level Design Work

Cooking RPG (WIP)

​

  • Designing a small (20-30 min) dungeon level to showcase a gameplay loop of a co-op RPG, utilizing an energy system that is filled through cooking and eating food.

  • Scripting various interactions, enemy behaviors, and environmental hazards for players to experience.

  • Playtesting and iterating on a flow of environmental exploration, combat encounters, and rest areas to ensure a satisfying interest curve.

April 2022 -June 2022

Cobot Putt Factory

  • Created 18 Levels for a putt-putt game utilizing Cobot arms to assist in players' shots.

  • Worked within design limitations of mobile device's portrait orientation to create levels that focused on verticality.

  • Collaborated with the art team to create a modular tile-based "level editor" within Unity to ensure a quick turnaround for level creation and iteration.

Magnet Gun Laboratory 
  • Created a small dungeon environment in Obsidian Entertainment's The Outer Worlds universe.

  • Utilized environmental storytelling and computer terminal entries to create a narrative for players to discover.

  • Scripted all player mechanics, enemies, and interactables in Unreal Engine.
